Be the Guru

Upload Your Gear Videos

As music gear enthusiasts we have long looked to the web for information on our favorite gear. Frankly we had grown a little frustrated on how hard it was to find good product information and reviews. We loved studying reviews by media sources, but also sought the more "raw" input from fellow musicians. The rapid spread of online video presented an amazing new medium for us to not only hear an instrument and read comments, but to see that instrument in action. Of course all of these options were available spread far and wide around the web, but man was it a lot of work! It was this fact coupled with our passion for all things gear that lead to the founding of Gear Guruz.

Here you will find a great balance between professionally created videos from our "guruz" and reviews done by musicians around the world. Beyond those videos you will find an active community of like-minded gear enthusiasts that add their experience through comments and ratings. Our goal is to bring you a well balanced take on the gear that you are considering and to deliver it to you in a way that is easy to navigate.

The key to Gear Guruz really is the community, so we encourage you to get involved and we hope that you enjoy Gear Guruz.
